Project Experiment | was all about, you guessed it,
experiments. The first assignment was to experiment
with paint on paper and then experiment with it
under the copy machine. This was the result.
The next assignment was to make a
self portrait with a craft technique.
As you can see, I did something abstract.
I knitted the shape and later I went with a piece
of thin rope through the knitted shape.
The next assignment was to make a self portrait
with tape-art. This is the result.
For this assisgment I had to make a life size
self portrait. I tie dyed a cloth and painted
myself, in an abstract way, onto it. Because I
was going through a tough period when I had
this project, I painted myself without a face.
For this assignment I had to make an extreme
wearable object for the body that was saying
something about me. I made a mask, covering
the whole face. Same story as with the life size
self portrait. The story behind it is that in that time
I just wanted to put a mask on. Not be myself for
a while. Not seeing or hearing the reality.
